Dill is a spice with a very delicate and slightly aniseed scent. Its taste looks like fennel and goes particularly well with lemon. Since dill, even dried, easily loses its flavor, adding it to your dishes after cooking is recommended.
Use 1/2 tsp of dill leaves to replace 1 tbsp of chopped fresh dill.
