Ground cloves
Cloves, characterized by a very intense, pungent and spicy flavour, are actually the flower buds of the clove tree that have been dried to concentrate their aroma and then ground into a spice.
The taste of cloves goes particularly well with cinnamon, ginger and cardamom.
